...how about this idea...
What if we disable the comment feature, so if you want to say something, you have to post it. That way, everyone can easily read everyone's comments, kinda like the website. What do you think? (You can comment here, since I haven't gotten rid of the feature yet! or leave a new post!)

It might just be me, but I kind of like the comment feature because then you can just comment on that topic. If you have something new then, you can post something new.
That's my two cents, but I don't really care either way.

I don't really care either way. I see what Vanilla is saying though. Then it's like responding to the posts like we did on myfamily. BUT ... you have to check the comments often if they're left there too. So, that's a negative I think to having them there, if you just forget to check them.
I believe there is a way to make it so the comments show. Then you can read what everyone has said in response without clicking on it and making a pop-up window. I think it's under formatting.
