Star Checking In

I love the blog idea! Thanks, Cricket, for setting it all up! Just a little update on me and my family...My husband Jeff and I are living in Roosevelt (a small town in Eastern Utah). We have an 18 month old daughter McKinlee. Jeff works as a Diesel Mechanic at the family business and I get to stay home with McKinlee! She keeps me pretty busy...she's quite the little explorer and a little mischievous! I love it! We moved into our house last fall and I have been having so much fun planting flowers and doing yard work this year. Anyways, that's about it for us! I'm excited to keep in touch this way!

Skippy loves blogs!

Yay for this idea! I am all about free!

Well a super quick update...

I am happy. I have a husband named Zach. Two kiddos who are very busy. Ben, 3 and Sarah 10 months. They are super fun, busy fun!

I am gonna go to the reunion I think. I'm leaving my kids with my mom and thought about camping up there. Do you guys think they'd let anyone sleep on the softball field? Wouldn't that be a blast!? Wheels are turning...

Love it!

So I'm pretty sure everyone has seen this picture, but it's the only one I have of the 4 of us! Thanks for starting this, Cricket! I wish I could fork over the 30 bones to myfamily.com, but we're on a strict student budget here! :)

Life is great for the Goldie's! We live in State College, PA where Brad is doing his PhD in finance at Penn State University. He just finished his first year and we have three to four more left! Nuts! Good thing we love it here, even though it's hard to be away from friends and family, and even though I'm missing the Oakcrest reunion! :(

Nick will be 3 in October and Chase is 5 months. I get to be home with my kids and I love it! Brad is serving as the stake executive secretary and I am the Activity Days leader and the stake assistant camp director. I also teach piano and sell scentsy candles. We keep pretty busy but I wouldn't change a thing. Blogs are the greatest things ever! I'm excited to keep in touch this way. Love you all!

Lyric Has a House!

FRONT OF THE HOUSE

BACK OF THE HOUSE - the backyard isn't finished yet.

FRONT LIVING ROOM - this is the room you walk into from the entry way.

KITCHEN

We have a house! Well, technically not yet because we don't close until the 29th of July, but we are under contract with them! Here is a peek of what it looks like. This is the current owner's decorations of coarse, but it let's you know what it's like. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths finished upstairs with the laundry room on the main level (I like that part). The basement is unfinished with 2 future bedrooms, 1 bath, and a family room. We are super excited!

Warrior

So I saw Warrior last night. She is the cutest thing with her pregnant belly! She isn't very big. She definitely doesn't look like she only has 2 weeks left! But her poor feet were so swollen! She is due on July 7th, so she hopes the baby comes as early as possible so she can come to the reunion. It's a little girl and they don't know what they are going to name her yet. Can you see Warrior with a pink, frilly, little girl!? She's excited and said to tell everyone hi!

CRICKET!

Bug has a blog too. Here is the address:

Sasparilla: Check

So, yesterday I typed up this whole thing, and then it killed my post! AHH!! So, I'm not really sure if I spelled my camp name right in the title because I haven't written it out since, oh probably camp! Lol!

On to my life. It's pretty crazy. You can look at my blog you can see the crazy stuff that's been happening. I've been married for just over 4 years now. I have 3 kids. Will is 3, Kate is 15 months and Spencer is 5 weeks old. It's fun. It's really crazy, but I'm adjusting and figuring out things. My husband graduated from BYU in April in Information Technology. About 1 1/2 months before graduation he decided he wanted to get a Masters Degree in IT also. So, he'll be doing that this Fall at BYU. It'll take him 18 months to 2 years. It's crazy, but it'll be good. I get to stay home with my kids, which I (usually, lol) love. It's a fun life, but so crazy!
This was taken on Father's Day, and I'm so happy we got Will and Kate smiling. I'm kind of bummed that it was before I did Kate's hair though, lol.

So...

...how about this idea...

What if we disable the comment feature, so if you want to say something, you have to post it. That way, everyone can easily read everyone's comments, kinda like the website. What do you think? (You can comment here, since I haven't gotten rid of the feature yet! or leave a new post!)

Sunkist signing-in

Brenton, Emily, and Claire
Hey girlies! :) I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one who didn't want to fork over 30 bucks to keep the website running . . . especially when we can do it this way for free. Here's hoping we keep this up! I'm so excited to see everyone at the reunion! Please come so I can see your face!

So Brenton (B), Claire and I live in Sandy and life is good! B is keeping busy working and going to pharmacy school at the U. He is the love of my life and is probably the funnest guy this side of the Mississippi (probably). I work with the 8-11 yr. old girls in our ward as the Activity Days leader. It is fun, the girls have so much energy and they're just stinkin' sweet. Claire is going to be 1 next month and I am in total shock about it. She is the sweetest little nut-nose and I am the luckiest girl in the world to get to be her mom. Also . . . this past March I fulfilled one of my life's goals. I wanted to be a matchmaker. You know, someone partly responsible for introducing two individuals to become eternal companions. Not only were we (my little brother and I) successful in setting up my best friend with her future husband, but she actually married my brother's brother-in-law making she and I related . . . how great is that?

Anywho, I hope you're all doing well! I'm excited for updates!

I LOVE this idea!

I love this idea! Well, for a quick update about me . . . my husband and I are currently living with my parents. Our offer on our house just went through yesterday! Yahoo! So we will be moving into our home the end of July. I am teaching 2nd grade and counting down the days until the end of the year (8 more). The students are beginning to be crazy. That's what is going on. Pretty boring and normal, but we LOVE being in love and sharing a life together!

Great Idea

This is a great idea since we have to pay for the MyFamily.com one. Plus blogs are cool because we can post photos with what we write. I support blogging!!! btw Cricket I read your laundry post from your blog to my husband jay and he loved it! now everytime we do our laundry we joke about it.

my updates: So I'm married now. Emmalee Greeni Powell. We live in Sandy. I'm pursuing a career as a high school art teacher. Just decided last week, so it may take a bit for me to get licensed and such. I'm hoping to secure at least a part-time teaching position and get my license while I work. I know some schools will do that. I believe there's some of you out there who are school teachers... how do you like it?

Princess is Present...

What a fun idea Cricket!!!! THANKS!!!! Ummmm....what to say, well I guess I'll just copy Cricket! If you don't read my blog (post your e-mail if you'd like an invite, it's private) I've been married for 5 years this month to James. He is working as and Electrical Engineer at ATK Space Systems. We have 2 children, Landon (almost 4) and Abbie (2). We live in Tremonton, Utah and we love it! It's a small town, SO quiet and peaceful! I serve in the Primary Presidency and James teaches the Gospel Principles Sunday School class. Still LOVING scrapbooking but have converted to Digital and LOVE it even more than before!!!!! Here's the latest picture of the kids! They bring us SO much joy and we can't imagine life without them!

Well, I guess that's it...can't wait to hear from all of you!
PRINCESS

Pssst...

Bop is here too, all signed up and ready to blog. But I'm at work and SHOULDN'T be blogging, so I'll keep it brief. I'm coming to the reunion, husbandless and babyless, but coming nonetheless. Hope to see some of you there! (Wish to see ALL of you, but I know that's not possible.)

Oh... MY blog is hmgreer.blogspot.com ... but I think you all know that.
Bye now.

Cricket is here!

Hello everyone! This is Cricket and I am so excited to be here! If you aren't a regular reader of my blog, I'll give you a quick update! I have been married for 5 years to Jeff. He's so awesome! He is going to be going to Pharmacy School at the University of Southern Nevada in the fall. We get to stay in SL though! He's going to go to the South Jordan campus. We have 2 beautiful kids! Cameron just turned 4 last week and Katie is 20 months. They are just the loves of my life and we have alot of fun together. I hope everyone gets on this blog and share what's happening. I can't wait to see what this blog holds! And I'm so excited to see everyone at the reunion! I LOVE ALL OF YER GUTS TONS!!!

Love,
Cricket

Welcome!

Hello Oakcrest 2002! We started this for 2001 and I think it's a good idea. Especially since we have to pay to get another year on the website. Please spread the word and post something about yourself! We love to keep in touch! HAPPY BLOGGING!!!
